BRITISH KEMPO SOCIETY

BEDFORD RIVER FESTIVAL 2010
17TH-18TH JULY

Everybody welcome on our mat area to train and demo
We've got the same size plot as we have had in previous times.  So all welcome to come train and soak up the atmosphere.  Please feel free to bring advertising with you as this is the 2nd largest out door festival after Notting Hill.  Last time it was superb with people coming and enjoying the warm mats and the good company.  Again we will be staying down by the river so if want to stay feel free.  There is a fantastic fireworks display in the evening, and loads of other stuff going on all weekend.  A time to meet old friends and make new ones as well

Assuming I have the weekend off, count me in. I'll have to let you know closer to the time. My student Will is also up for it

Might not be able to train but do you know if the organisers are after any bands? Would be happy to play!

You would have to contact the council.  The event is massive so you never know

I have to say, I'm always jealous of this weekend thing!  For the past 2 times and this time sadly I've got prior engagements :-(, they couldn't relocate this to the North West?

Good news, my overseas business trip has just got postponed so I'll be in the UK.

Bad news, it clashes with the annual STMF (School of Traditional Medieval Fencing) Pig Hack and barbecue weekend.

Good news, both are on over both days.

Interesting news - it's my 40th birthday on the Friday!

Solution - I'll do pig-hacking Saturday, and Bedford on Sunday, and birthday all weekend!

Were you not at Rosi's course in Bedford a few years back when the entire of [PJ] decided to give me the bumps? You shouldn't admit to things like birthdays in front of this lot...
